About the event
This summer, DanceCo presents The People I See Are a Part of Me, a world premiere featuring poetry, percussive, and modern dance. An all-star cast shares the story of Alra, who learns valuable lessons about friendship, compassion, and courage. Created by choreographer Karla Nweje, this production will help us see the best in others and ourselves.
DanceCo shows start with a kid-focused workshop where audience members can learn and practice interactive parts of the show. Then, the DanceCo Artists take the stage for a 45-minute performance with opportunities for the audience to join the dancers on stage! The audience is always part of the magic.
