About Me

I’m an educator, performing artist, and arts advocate passionate about creating spaces where creativity, learning, and community can flourish. As a high school Spanish teacher and master’s student, I bring curiosity, energy, and purpose to my work—encouraging others to explore, grow, and connect. My teaching practice is rooted in equity and inclusion, and I specialize in curriculum design and implementation, with expertise in IB and Comprehensible Input frameworks. I’m especially drawn to the intersections of art, social justice, and identity, focusing on Latin, immigrant, and queer communities and their stories.

Outside the classroom, I’m a professional performer—singer, dancer, and actor—and a dedicated arts educator. I’ve worked with organizations and ensembles across the Midwest to make arts education accessible for all, especially young people from historically marginalized backgrounds. Whether performing onstage, teaching voice or dance, or collaborating with community groups, I believe in the transformative power of the arts to amplify voices, foster connection, and inspire meaningful change.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish, Education, and Music, as well as a Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from St. Olaf College (Northfield, MN). I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Spanish at the University of St. Thomas (Minneapolis, MN).

I currently teach Spanish at South High School (Minneapolis, MN) and dance at the Roseville School of Dance (Roseville, MN). I also serve as Choral Director and Collaborative Pianist for Trondhjem Lutheran Church (Lonsdale, MN).
