Join Blake as he presents his paper "<<Rhythm Nation>>: El uso del Hip Hop como herramienta educativa en salones de clases en escuelas primarias y secundarias en los EE.UU." at the North Central Council of Latin Americanists conference on the campus of St. Olaf College.
His research explores the way Hip Hop has been and can continue to serve as an educational tool in the Heritage Language classroom. Additionally, he proposes the creation of courses that steadily integrate the art form into traditional Heritage language instruction at the primary and secondary levels to promote the development of critical thinking skills, creativity, and social-emotional regulation.
